In the name of Jesus Christ let's claim the verse that says "come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy burdened and I will give you rest". Praying in the Spirit means you are so deep in your talk with Jesus that you aren't even aware of what's going on around you, only what's going on within you. Get by yourself and do this. Jesus is interceding for you now. Claim it for yourself and leave your burdens with Him. It's too much to carry alone. He died for this. You are in my prayers and I will lift you up by name.

Work on some of your artwork? Start a project that'll keep your mind and hands busy? Message me on facebook?

It's hard to give up the foods we shouldn't have, because they have always soothed our anxiety in the past, and our body and brains expect that to happen. Withdrawing from them can cause a physical and emotional reaction.

Getting out of the house can be helpful. Walking or just sitting outside on a nice day can be soothing, and going for a ride in the car (husband driving) can help those tight muscles relax.

Meditation and prayer may help you through this. Anything that takes your mind off of things--watch a movie, a TV show, read your bible, etc.

I'm thinking of you and praying for you to get through this.

Do you have anything that you enjoy and that you never eat when you are involved with that activity? I never eat when I'm reading. I know it's silly, but I don't want to get food on my book. I never eat when I'm crocheting or knitting either. Just a thought. Hope you feel better as the evening progresses. :)

If it helps, I've been praying for you since the post about re-arranging your bedroom. I'm sorry for what you're going through.

For all the amazingly helpful information that you've brought into my life, I so wish I could help you out here...
I will pray that the right answers come to you and that you will find perfect healing through all of this. I know you can do it.

Hope you made it through the night ok. I know what you're feeling but know that doesn't help much. I play little goofy app or computer games when I'm feeling that way.

Obviously I'm ridiculously behind...but I hope the night went okay. You just got added to my prayer list, since that's the only thing I can think to do to help. That and encourage you here, 5 days after you post. :)

I'm anxious to hear if your doctor has any 'cure' for insomnia that doesn't come out of a prescription vial...
(I, too, am troubled by chronic insomnia but hate hate HATE the fogged-out, hung-over feeling that sleeping pills of all sorts - believe me, I think I've tried 'em all! - leave me w/the next day)
