Getting over myself with pictures...lol.

Hey all,
First off, Thanks to everyone who stopped by to support me yesterday...I really appreciated all the comments and kind words. Sometimes I feel down....then I get back up.
That was yesterday.
I had my daughter take a picture of me today to remind me that I have come very far.
That three pounds makes a difference.

This is Me (and my shiny toilet lol) today.

I'll get over myself now.

Hope everyone had a great night.

Okay...
Thing number 5 for beautiful blogger which I was awarded with again last night by Juli's Journey...
Glad this is taking me awhile...lol.
Thank  you juli.

Okay...Number 5
I know all the words to Tupac shakur's song "changes'.
In fact, much like eminem...I think He was a deep person. I think alot of these kids who have grown up in bad situations...given the opportunity, could contribute to society and life, if given the opportunity.
It takes a society willing to look past 'bad' language, past tattoos, past attitudes and poor choices,  to hear what they are actually saying. I hope someday we will get to the place where we can look past the exterior and see the inner person.

So, Now that I have re affirmed That 157 lbs looks better on me than 262 lbs, I feel better.

So, of course my plan  here is to come back at this harder...No, I don't quit.
Ever.
So, I will be posting in June, every day, every thing that passes my lips and every single exercise.
What I burn down to the nth digit.
That way there will be nowhere to run and hide if the numbers don't pan out.
I had one week of higher calories. I also had two high calorie days besides that.
that's nine days.
yes, the three pounds was deserved.
So, pity party over...
kicking that whiny beyotch out the back door.
Back to it and here is to a rocking June...
cause I refuse to balloon.
Hugs to you all.
Chris

Glad you're feeling better about things today. You look awesome in the new pic!

The Deployment Challenge is six months - but broken into one month parts - guess silly me forgot to mention that. I would love to have you join in July. :)

Chris, you look so slim....and so, so pretty. :) I'm glad you are better today. I tried to keep my comment short from yesterday....damn muscle relaxants make me dumb so I am having to watch my words. lol. Very frustrating. We all have our bad days...or bad weeks. I understand totally. You've come VERY far...so so far. Don't forget it.

Look at that sexy momma! You look fantastic, don't ever forget that. I can only imagine what it feels like to be a over a hundred pounds lighter and much healthier. Hopefully, one day I will but until then I can only look you fabulous women like yourself for inspiration.

I loved the way you described the music of Eminem and 2Pac and totally agree - fortunately (musically at least) these guys were given a break. There are millions of others who haven't made their mark on the world yet and I am sure that if more people had your view it would come sooner rather than later - hopefully not too late.

It's the first time I have popped by so have missed the inbetween 'down' moments in relation to your weightloss but I have just seen the before and after pics and I have to say well done, you look fab.

Keep it up.

You know, we all have our down days. Even you. I looked at today's pic for a long time - aside from how far you've come since you started, you've come a long way since your January 1 photo! Amazing, Chris, how you're making this happen. Amazing. So proud of you.

I am so glad you are feeling better Chris. You look absolutely AMAZING and have done such a fantastic job. I've so enjoyed sharing your journey with you this past year and feel your ups and downs. We all get them but you bounce back so quickly and with such determination. You inspire quite a few of us.

I'm glad you could actually SEE your progress because sometimes we can't. When I started reading I kept thinking about that song Tubthumping by Chubawamba:

"I get knocked down but I get up again you're never going to keep me down!"

As long as you keep getting back up, that's really all that matters.

Chris, you look fab!!!! Also, I too think Tupac was a down right poet with that song "changes". Brush off those few days and June here we come. I'm looking forward to reading what you eat and what kind of workouts you do.

I'm going to have to download this song to my ipod. I luv the beat. Looking awesome Chris!!!

The pics really tell the story, don't they? Definitely something to smile about! And thanks for the kick in the pants...I'm starting to feel like I'm down for the count. Pulling myself out this time is harder than it's been this whole year, since I started blogging last June. Not sure what's exactly wrong with me, but "defeated" is a good way to describe what I'm feeling. Trying, trying to get out of it and rise above. :)
