HDC Day 22=Wahoo.....back to the gym!

I am in at 1440 calories again.
I have a theory about my eating patterns.... My body adapts itself to whatever calorie level I feed it.
(not starvation levels of course...just less)
So, I am not dropping my calories or anything, just noticing a pattern.
I went back to the gym today and had one heck of a burn..700 calories on the elliptical, pluse 150 situps and upper body weights.

Now, I know my Saturday Snark must have p*ssed some people off.
I know everyone has a right to their opinion. It just feels like the only people who are ever told to shut up and sit down are people who have an objection to what seems like a pretty straitforward case of insensitivity on some people's parts..
Under the guise of tolerance.
It isn't very tolerant of them to ignore people who have been hurt beyond repair.
That's all I am saying.
And I don't think they should do it.
I wouldn't. My mama taught me better.

anywhoozle.
Have finally started some sort of food storage.
bought six cans of tuna and an extra bottle of shampoo...It won't get us through a nuclear war, but it's a start.
I am also doing something I should have done a long time ago..
Make my 9 year old sleep in her own bed when her dad goes to work nights.
We should have different bed times, she's 9, I am 36.
To have any sort of a schedule I am going to have to enforce bedtimes.
I am not an 'enforcer' type parent.
I am more of a 'talker' A 'figure it outer' and a 'cooperative worker througher'..
however, soph isn't getting enough sleep.
So out she goes. lol.
Before you know it I will own a watch.
so, hope you are all having a great day.
I will try to swing by a few blogs.
Have a great night.
Hugs,
Chris

you're not an enforcer? I always pictured you as the enforcer! Either way, get a watch and put that girl to bed :)

I laughed at the watch comment.

I recently cleaned out my closet and consequently my jewelry box where I discovered the one watch I own has long since stopped working. Of course, the battery has run out. I briefly thought about replacing the battery, but decided, "Eh, when do I ever wear it anyway?"

Thanks for the smile.

Chris, you are such a drill sergeant with your exercise I also thought you'd be the tough parent! And lol on "she's 9 I'm 36"! I need to remind myself that they're KIDS, like they're still growing and need more sleep, despite their protests!

I think your Saturday snark was spot on! Sometimes, in the name of Political Correctness, they get it wrong.

Funny about the watch... one of my mini-goals is to be able to wear my watch again. I still need to lose 3/4 more inch from my wrist. It's a special watch I bought about 10 years ago as an incentive... the face plate is in the shape of a palette, and the places where the hours go are little puddles of different colors of paint. It's called a "Da Vanci", with an A... I wonder if they thought people were too dumb to know it was a knockoff, LOL!

Thanks for the kind words on my blog! "Mindscrew" is totally appropriate. A friend of mine told a joke not long after I miscarried and I remember thinking to myself, "Will I ever find anything funny again?... Ever."

And like you, I hope it sets me up for success or certainly puts things in perspective. My chances of a natural conception were less than 2%. I have one ovary due to severe endometreosis and it's pretty temperamental. If I could overcome that, sustain a pregnancy that was "not viable" for as long as I did... somehow find a way to laugh and be encourage, what's a few pounds?

Thanks again!

I just caught up on a few of your blogs. Think your Saturday one sounds spot on.

Also love that you are letting yourself become who you want to be.

I love that I now paint and next week am learning glass slumping.

Your blog about the mosque pissed me off, but not at you. Just got me upset all over again at the situation. It makes me really mad at every single politician who trots out the freedom of religion bs when they get asked about it. That is not what this is about. However, I do get really fired up and happy every time a Democrat slams the President for letting this atrocity go down. Nice to see that some Democrats are finally opening their eyes and their mouths.

Just wanted you to know that I commented on your comment. Thanks. If that trainer thing doesn't work out, maybe the therapy thing will...
