Hey everyone,
Man, did I bust my butt today at the gym.
I did an hour on the elliptical...burned 710 calories and then did 200 situps.
I don't know why,but it just felt harder for some reason.
I felt sick after.
I got home and wanted to eat a banana...so I did.
Drank a ton of water.
Tomorrow I am planning on jogging.
I also do cookie closeout and a girl scout meeting.
I am going to kind of cruise through the rest of march just eating my daily calories and exercising and see where that takes me.
Friday is my new 5.6 mile walk.
Saturday I will be going to the park with my kids.
Hope you all are having a great night.
I know I did.
Hugs,
Chris

Wonder why your workout was harder? It sounds like you're coming down with something. I hope not.
200 situps... that's great Chris. You're my "workout hero...."
I've had a stomach virus for a week. Nasty bug. I hope that you're not getting something like that. Feel better soon!
great job!
I always feel good about my workouts in the gym...until I come over here and read about yours, lol. You're doing fantastic!! I've been on the friggin' elliptical for about 3 months now and I still absolutely HATE that thing. I do it, because it produces results, but there's no way I could stand an hour on it. I split my cardio between the elliptical and walking on the treadmill w/ 7.5 lb weights in my hands. That's as good as it gets for cardio, then I do a 30 minute session with weights and such....I suck, you rock! LOL :)
Have fun on your walk!
Where you walking?
See ya at G.Scouts tomorrow.
Feel better, Chris.
Impressive time on that elliptical! And 200 sit-ups, too.
On the Biggest Loser they sometimes get nauseous when they are working out extremely hard... maybe it was kind of like that??
Have fun on your new longer walk! What great progress.
Loretta
=^..^=
park sounds like a good idea
great workout
:-)
An hour on the elliptical? That thing is a torture machine!! I made it 15 minutes on the one last night, and was so proud of myself! HAHA! Way to go!!
That is a LOT of exercise, woman! I think I'd hurl too if I did 200 sit ups. But sakes alive, you're going to be able to crack coconuts on those abs soon.
You know I'm a walker, right? I usually do 4 miles a day and that takes me an hour an a half. A 5.6 mile walk is technically a hike! We sometimes do 6 miles on the trails, but that's only occasionally. I BOW TO YOU.
Keep up the good work, chica. But please don't overdo. No hurling!
Your workouts are killer!! (especially the sit ups...those hurt my butt bone!)
Glad you had a great day.
I'm hoping Saturday will be a park day for us too.
I think I'd want to vomit if I just did 200 straight sit ups too. Hope you're feeling better today.
good job on the workout!! you rock :-)
HOpe you're not sick. Impressive time at the gym there. :D
You know, not too long from now, I can see you going on to become a motivational speaker on weight loss and getting healthy. You have to be one of the best examples of someone whose switch flipped and you're just so singlemindedly pushing forward. No fads, no gimmicks, just good clean eating and commitment to exercise. Of course I suppose a lot of people don't want to hear that that's the way it has to be done, but if you can speak like you write then I think that would get the message across!
