Alright that's it...

I've had it.
I am taking my Christmas back...I am rounding up the troops and we will take a forward position, pushing back the gloomies in an orchestrated pincer movement...
Forcing Christmas Cheer to abound, and bringing about the utter destruction of the enemy force....cynicism.
So, Sophie probably saw all of her gifts.
I am still going to wrap them, and she will still play with them.
IT isn't the end of the world.
Santa still brings a bike...and that is the biggest gift.
ugh.
anyway.
I think we will be running away next year as well.(hey losing 100)...
Where to you may ask?
OH....I don't know....
Maybe a cabin... with a tree that is decorated with homemade ornaments. We will sit by a crackling fire and sip hot chocolate while we all whittle woodland creatures and pa can go fetch the presents from the barn after the blizzard.
Sorry, I think I momentarily fell into an old 'little house on the prairie' episode.
I am going to the gym tomorrow morning and am going to work out like a demon.
then I will finally feel as if I gotten something accomplished.
Hope you all
HAVE A VERY VERY VERY MERRY MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
That's an order,

I predict your Christmas will immediately start to improve! Why? Cuz, as you know, attitude is a choice, not a circumstance. Good choice!!
Merry Christmas! :-)

Happy Christmas to you too! I realize it's still a few days away, but you know how crazy this time of the year is and I might not be able to get around the blogosphere until we leave on vacation...

Many blessings to you and your family!

I like the thought of going away for an old fashion Little House on the Prairie-type Christmas.

Enjoy the time with friends and family and don't worry that Sophie saw her presents. I'm sure she will be happy with all her gifts whether they came from Mom or Santa.

Merry Merry!

I love the idea of an old fashioned Xmas. I am going to do a lot of candles, a roaring fire in the fireplace, and some folk Xmas music!

I was the kid that would actually unwrap the presents in my mother's closet to see what I was going to get lol. Nothing was safe with me lol. I'm sure Sophie will love her presents regardless. Here's to a Merry Christmas!!!

Funny about the Little House on the Prairie thing, Chris. At least you don't have to go out and slaughter a cow to have dinner! There's always something to be grateful for. And what a year of accomplishments. We were doing a stretch at my exercise class to that Hawaiian singer who sang a version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" but who died morbidly obese and I thought how sad obesity really is and how it does kill and how grateful I am that I can MOVE, unlike how I used to be! You have that too!
Have a wonderful Christmas!

I hate facing those busy crowds. I did have to venture out today and was lucky to get in and out in less than half an hour. It took longer to find a parking space far away from the store and walk in. In and out... I should buy a freakin' lottery ticket.

Hang in there Chris.. the idea of getting away, lounging in front of a warm fire inside a warm cabin sounds just lovely and the "ideal" way to spend a white christmas. As a kid, I usually woke up in the middle of the night and peeked at my presents. I can't ever remember a surprise gift. I still enjoyed the gifts even though I knew what they were.

Enjoy tomorrow's workout. Wishing you a merry Christmas to you and your family,
Paula

lol...that makes two of us. Late yesterday afternoon I put a Christmas CD in and walked around the house singning and driving my guys nuts and had a grand old time.

Funny, your next year--my son has described that as a perfect Christmas. When he grows up he wants a cabin and a Christmas just as you have described. lol

Merry, Merry =)
