Welcome to Overweightsville....Population: Me!

Hello all,
Fanfriggentastic news.
I am no longer Morbidly obese.
Or severely obese...
or even kind of obese.
As of today, I am
OVERWEIGHT.
I weighed in this morning at 168.5.
Yeah! Cue balloons and confetti.
I have been OBESE since 1997.
That is 13 years.
There are fat pockets that haven't seen the light of day since Bill clinton "Knew" Monica.

I was so pumped I ate clean and exercised.
oh wait. I do that anyways...
which is why I am no longer OBESE.
It does feel different..
Kind of like age 21 different, when you can legally get sh*tfaced drunk and puke into  your friends cashmere sweater.
Except now I can wander around officially pudgy as opposed to
MORBIDLY OBESE.....
Now I only have a slightly elevated risk of dropping dead from a variety of illnesses.
50 percent of the female population weighs more than me.
That's half.
(Math genius here)
If and when I lose 30 more pounds, a good 70 percent of america's female population will indeed...
weigh- more- than- me.
More.
than.
me.
So, If you want to be merely pudgy.
Keep on going.
You too can be average..
lol.
YEAH!!!
Tomorrow is my 200 situps in 5 minutes challenge...which will be supervised by my good friend
Amber.
Not sure how this will work....If I will have to post it (the verification) on mine, with her writing, or on hers with a link.
We'll see.
But
anyways....
Thanks for all the support.
I felt better this morning.
For a variety of reasons...well, one really.
signing off,
YOUR HAPPILY PUDGY BLOGGER.
Chris

~ Ahhhh... Sweet Success... ~

I can't wait to join you in the Land of Simply Overweight - I vaguely remember having visited there once! Which site did you use to gage your morbidly-obese/obese/overweight numbers?

~ So happy for you! - Angie

Picture me jumping up and down and clapping... I am so happy for you Chris. I'm not surprised cuz you've been pretty consistent with the exercise and food. Can I say I frowned (that jealous B@@ch in me) just for a second because I remember when you and I weighed the same. Seriously, I'm proud of you Chris. Congratulations.

You are now leaving Obese City. Thanks for coming, but please never return... for your own good.

Isn't it crazy that we are so happy to be called "overweight". That's just how bad the word "obese" is, that it makes "overweight" look like a f*ckin' compliment.

Anyway, kudos to you on your big milestone. You really are on your way!

Only those of us that are "obese" understand the joy of being "overweight" - HUGE CONGRATS!!!!!!

Oh my goodness - CONGRATULATIONS, Chris!!! I am SO excited for you! You're in the 160s, your losing consistently, you're dropping down in the BMI scale, and you're no longer obese...but more than anything, you are conquering your fears and CHOOSING your life rather than letting it choose you. Keep up the AMAZING work!!

Congratulations, Chris! You've been motivating me for a little while, but I haven't commented till now. After reading this post, however, I decide to check my own BMI, and guess what? I'm joining you in the land of overweight! Yay!

What's so interesting to me is how people respond to the "new me," which is really the "old me" of waaaaaayyy long ago. The first time I was at this weight, people would actually comment on how heavy I had gotten [not to my face, of course . . . mostly =|]; now that I'm back 'down' to this weight, people keep saying "God, you've gotten so skinny!" SKINNY! Amazing what a difference perception can make . . . I too am thrilled now to be merely pudgy. I'll see you on the way down!

And thanks again for the inspiration. =)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! (you earned it!)

I am so so close to hitting that "overweight" line that I can taste it.

Throw a party and never go back. ♥

So proud of you.

CONGRATS!

I can't wait to join you. I want to stomp on the Wii Fit every day when it says "that's OBESE" in that silly little voice.

Keep up the good work and you'll be "normal" in no time ;)

I'm reading your posts backwards, catching up. I swear to goodness woman...I am going to HAVE to stop having a drink in my mouth when I'm reading your blog. My pc monitor just can NOT handle having anymore beverages spewed all over it, lol. First you got me with "shuffling menacingly"...and then again with "fat pockets that haven't seen the light of day since Bill Clinton KNEW Monica" lmao....you kill me.

Congrats for being AVERAGE!!!!! Don't you just LOVE being pudgy???? So very, very proud of you...your enthusiasm over it is contagious....I jumped out of my chair and did a little twirl and happy dance for you!!! lol Can't wait to get there myself....consistency Tammy...consistency. :)
