Turn out the lights....the party is over...

It seems that all good things must end.

We had a great birthday party...
Right now I am sitting in my Pj's.
I am relaxing the rest of this evening.
So...in lieu of more words...I  will resort To Pictures:

This is the vanity I got from good will....I picked up a little jar of gold paint and spruced it up...good as new.
Sophie loved it...

That's my sophie on the left with her BFF...(best friend forever) playing dressup with her new headbands and makeup.

Here's a painting I did a while back...it is a fairy on a mushroom.
The whole room used to be a meadow, but I painted it purple for sophie.
She wanted to keep the fairy, so I framed it with gold paint.

Well that's all for now...I am going to peruse some blogs and relax.
have a great night guys.
Hugs,
Chris

Love the fairie on the wall. That is totally cool. I wish I had seen it when it was still a meadow. The purple is pretty, too, but a meadow... And the desk looks great. Amazing what a little bit of gold paint will do!

Oh, my! I know you have mentioned that you did some art, but I had no idea you wee so talented. Your wall art is beautiful.

And the little desk is just charming. I had a white French Provincial bedroom suite--complete with canopy bed, no less--when I was a teenager w/ a dark, royal purple rug. I loved it. This picture reminds me of that.

Just beautiful. Love the colors, too.

Thanks for sharing.

Love your artwork. Totally looks like the type of ethereal world a fairy would live in! And great thrift store find! Several years ago I found the kitchen table we used for years for $40 at a thrift store. I loved it till we killed it with love. And then I found my present one at a consignment place and just had to repaint the legs (which took me about 4 different tries to get it right!)

Good job, Chris!

Holy crap woman!!! Why haven't i noticed pics of your artwork before??? Have you posted others??? Do you have an online portfolio?? I need to know these things!!! Man...if I had my own house instead of moving into an apt I'd hire you to come down and paint murals on all of my walls, lol. You ROCK! :)

Ok, so I backtracked and read everything I've missed. First off...lololol @screw the pooch. I don't know what it means but I am DETERMINED to use it in a conversation! Oh, and yeah, I've always admired Mel Gibson's acting, but knowing how he truly is makes me less apt to ever watch his movies again. That was a good post by the way. :) You are a great artist....very talented. Your daughter is beautiful too. We know where she gets her looks from. ;) I hope she had a great b-day. It looks like she did. Oh and I didn't know if I was supposed to replace * in the word p*ssy with an i or u at first. lmao!
Btw, you and I feel very much the same way about judgement. I've lived in judgement many times before...it's not a good place to be when you're the one being judged.
