I really like how your drawing turned out. I am not an art critic, but I think it is really good, particularly for someone who is just picking it back up. I know that your will just get better and better so I am looking forward to seeing more. Your kids (and you) looked like they were having a great time at the anime thing. They are really precious. Oooh, that underskirt looks like black satin! And I love how you did the sky in rich jewel tones near her head, instead of just plain blue.

I like how you have several different textures going.. the satin, the flowing hair, the lightness of the clouds, and the dusty, earthiness of the mountain and desert area. Makes for nice contrasts!
